Apart from the films & their characters, there have been few times when these bollywood starts have managed to hit the nail right & won our heart convincingly. Being stars, interviews are a dime a dozen. Though, every once in while they take the lead to make their fans proud. Below are 5 times when the bollywood stars grabbed the eyeballs in an interview.

1. Sonakshi Sinha On "My Choice"

"Women empowerment is not always about the kind of clothes you wear, not about who you want to have sex with or stuff like that. It’s about employment, strength… It’s a very good initiative. It’s coming from a good space, but honestly I believe empowerment should be given to the women who actually need it, who are kind of far away from where we are right now. We have been bred and brought up with luxury."
Though she hasn't delivered something commendable through her movies since long, her views are pretty intelligent.

2. Irfan Khan On 100 Crore Club Movies

"Our Bollywood stars who talk of being part of 100 crore films, I think I belong to the 1,000 crore club."
All the superstars in 100 crore club movies just got trolled.

3. Shahrukh Khan On Not Yet Getting Into Hollywood

"It is better to rule in hell, than to serve in heaven."
This was asked by a journalist to him a few years ago about why was Shahrukh not considering Hollywood films. The badshash promptly & in his usual manner replied like this.

4. Kangana Ranaut On Declining Endorsement Of Fairness Cream

"Ever since I was a kid, I have never understood the concept of fairness. Especially, in such a case, as a celebrity, what kind of example would I be setting for younger people? I have no regrets about turning this offer down. As a public figure, I have responsibilities. My sister (Rangoli Ranaut) is dusky, yet beautiful. If I go ahead and be a part of this campaign, then, in a way, I would be insulting her. If I can’t do that to my sister, then how can I do it to an entire nation?"
Slow claps for the lady!

5. Nawazuddin Siddique On Being Star Struck While Doing Scenes

“Mai sacchi batau..mai kisike bhi saath nahi huaa tha. Usaki wajah hai ki, agar mai scene ke wakt star struck hone laga, toh mai apne saamnewale actor/star ki ijjat nahi kar raha hun. Agar scene ke wakt mai unka character nahi soch raha hun..balki us characters ko Aamir, Shahrukh ya Salman samjh raha hun..That mean aap apne aap se bhi corrupt ho rahe ho aur unkobhi respect nahi de rahe ho!”
(Translation: Truly speaking, I wasn’t star stuck with anyone. If I start getting fascinated with actors that mean you are disrespecting them. If you are not thinking about their character while acting, then you are simply making yourself corrupt and not giving justice to the co-actor’s work. )

5 Times When These Bollywood Stars Won Our Hearts

Tuesday, 16 June 2015

Life never stops teaching. The very second after taking a birth, you start assimilating the guidelines of this wonderful gift of life. And during the entire voyage, you grasp & learn different verities of life. Having crossed 2 decades from the time you arrived in this world, many aspects of life which you presumed start to refute. Today I'm gonna list out 5 important things you realize when you're in your 20s.

1. Job is not a full stop to your money problems

We study a lot in school, even more in the college with a determined aim to get a handsome job in an MNC. And then we expect all our money affiliated problems to get solved. Little did we knew that getting a job was just the beginning & soon the race to earn more & more starts. It gets difficult to reach to the point when you're satisfied with what you earn. Things gets nasty when you get married & there are people dependent on you.

2. Rejection is not necessarily the worst thing

It definitely isn't. Whether it's a rejection of a job application or of a person. These are the times when you will learn about yourself more than ever. A declined job offer can teach you all the skills you need to get through it. One when you get dumped by a person, you get a chance to realize the difference between a good & a bad relationship.

3. Life is not a milestone race

It isn't. As I mentioned earlier, it's a voyage. An expedition in which you dig into unplumbed waters. There is no finish line. Though there is, that you'll be dead one day but you're gonna reach it anyway. Competition has been injected in our blood since we took our first step in the schools. But, life is in fact more about finding & exploring yourself rather than running behind the achievements. All you can do is have fun, make friends, share grieves, joy & pray that the journey was a memorable one.

4. Being self centered is not bad

Let's not confuse self centered with selfish. Everybody needs to be a little self centered. There are times when it is important to think about & give yourself a priority. Being self centered is not bad, but hurting others during this process is.

5. "I'll do it later" never works

This will be the most busiest phase of your entire life. Ample of things to do - job, career, dreams, friends, family to list a few. The most troublesome task is choosing one among them to be kept aside in the locker of "I'll do it later". And, as many of us might have experienced, the key to that locker never find it's way back.
